XHJD-1 Whirlaway and XH-20 Little Henry on St. Louis Flight Ramp

The XHJD-1 Whirlaway, built in 1946 for the Navy, was the world's first twin-engine helicopter. It weighed six tons. The XH-20 Little Henry was the world's first ramjet helicopter. A flying test stand, it had no tail rotor and weighed only 280 pounds.
